Delicious Christmas Cookies

These delightful Christmas cookies are a holiday favorite. Theyre buttery, soft, and perfect for sharing with loved ones.

Ingredients:

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 3/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1 large egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
• Sprinkles or colored sugar for decorating

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line baking sheets with parchment paper

In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt

In a separate bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy

Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined

Roll the dough into small balls and place them on the prepared baking sheets

Flatten each ball slightly and decorate with sprinkles or colored sugar

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden

Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely
