Sweet and Tangy Meatballs
People love these sweet and sour meatballs, and theyre great for parties or dinners during the week. When you mix barbecue sauce and grape jelly together, you get a deliciously sticky glaze that covers each meatball.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup grape jelly
Instructions:
In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, chopped onion, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined
Shape the mixture into small meatballs
In a slow cooker, combine barbecue sauce and grape jelly
Stir until well mixed
Add the meatballs to the slow cooker, coating them with the sauce mixture
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until meatballs are cooked through and sauce is thickened, stirring occasionally
