Perfect Crock-Pot Pot Roast
This slow cooker pot roast recipe is perfect for busy days when you need a hearty and delicious meal ready with minimal effort. The beef chuck roast becomes incredibly tender as it cooks low and slow with savory vegetables, creating a comforting dish the whole family will love.
Ingredients:
- 3 lbs beef chuck roast
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 carrots, peeled and cut into chunks
- 4 potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
In the slow cookers bottom, put the sliced onion
Salt, pepper, and minced garlic should be used to season the beef chuck roast
Put it on top of the onions
Put the potatoes and carrots around the roast
Put Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, and beef broth in a small bowl and mix them together
Put this on top of the roast and vegetables
For 8 to 10 hours on low heat or 4 to 5 hours on high, cover and cook until the meat is soft and the vegetables are fully cooked
The roast and vegetables should be taken out of the slow cooker when they are done
After cooking the roast, let it rest for a few minutes
Place the sliced roast on a plate with the vegetables
Pour the slow cooker juices over the lamb
