Lobster Mac & Cheese
Ingredients:
- 8 oz macaroni pasta
- 2 lobster tails, cooked and chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded gruyere cheese
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375F 190C
Cook macaroni according to package instructions until al dente
Drain and set aside
In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat
Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden
Gradually whisk in milk, stirring constantly until mixture thickens, about 5 minutes
Stir in garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper
Reduce heat to low, then add cheddar and gruyere cheese
Stir until melted and smooth
Fold in cooked macaroni and chopped lobster tails until well combined
Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish
In a small bowl, combine breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese
Sprinkle over the macaroni mixture
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving
