Pepper Chicken Asparagus Stir-Fry
A tasty stir-fry dish with soft chicken slices and bright asparagus that has been seasoned with ginger, soy sauce, black pepper, and garlic. Its quick and easy to make, making it perfect for a tasty weeknight dinner
Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
- Green onions for garnish, chopped optional
Instructions:
Put soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper in a bowl and mix them together
Put chicken slices in this mixture and let them sit for 15 minutes
Put vegetable oil in a big pan or wok and heat it over medium-high heat
Mix in the ginger and garlic powder, and stir-fry for one minute, until the food smells good
Put chicken that has been marinated into the pan
It will take about 5 to 6 minutes of stirring until the chicken is fully cooked
After you add the asparagus to the pan, stir-fry for three to four more minutes, until the asparagus is tender-crisp
If you need to, add salt to the seasoning
If you want, you can add chopped green onions as a garnish
Put it on top of hot steamed rice or noodles
