Paleo Sticky Shrimp
A tasty and flavorful dish, this Paleo Sticky Shrimp recipe is ideal for a quick and simple weeknight dinner. Coconut aminos, honey, ginger, and garlic combine to make a sticky, flavorful sauce that perfectly coats the soft shrimp. The entire family will enjoy this filling and healthful dish.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons coconut aminos
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions:
Combine the coconut aminos, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl
Toss the shrimp in the bowl to ensure that they are coated evenly
Give the marinade 15 to 20 minutes
In a skillet, preheat the heat to medium-high
When the skillet is hot, add the marinated shrimp and marinade
Shrimp should be cooked for two to three minutes on each side, or until they become opaque and pink
After the shrimp are cooked, take them out of the skillet and place them on a platter
Over the shrimp, drizzle the leftover skillet sauce
Add chopped green onions as a garnish
